Can't move items in Scene window

Right now for some reason my window is stuck so when I try and select an item and move it in the Scene tab, instead of moving the item so I can change it's place and parent it, it just selects the next items down the list as if I were holding control. I cannot parent items or change their order or chose what I select. Daz is basically unusable to me right now because of it.

In my experiences there are two obvious things which also giving me same situation . Smoothing modifier ( mostly because autofit clothing/hairs from other generations) and Mesh resolution plus subD set too high .

Try select all and in parameter tab set Mesh Resolution to Base and Sub D to 1 or Zero first . And see if that help to speed your session and viewport . Then inspecting which one  "the real culprit" from your problems
