Genesis 2 Super Hero Suit MAT Question(s)

Given that there's a new sale on the Genesis 1 Supersuit, and that I feel this question wouldn't fit in the thread about the Supersuit in general (given that it's Genesis 1 and not Genesis 2), I'm posting this on a new thread.
I apologize in advance if it didn't warrant its own thread.

So the V4 and M4 Bodysuits have plenty of MAT zones.
The Genesis Supersuit has EVEN MORE of them.
So how come the Genesis 2 Super Hero Suit (both the Female AND Male ones) doesn't have ANY (except for of course the whole suit)?
How come textures for it only get applied to the entire suit?

The G2 suits are Published Artist items, the Genesis suit and previous are Daz Originals.

    Ah, I see. Gotcha.

But was there any sort of reason smay didn't/couldn't do it when he (or she) made them?

I can't speak for smay's intentions or work flow.

If you want to use the items but leave skin exposed, I'd try making some transparency maps. it's not a one-click solution, but it's a reasonable work around.

The3DWizard is awaiting for his new product to pass Q&A, which will fit the Gen 2 people (one for female and the male version coming shortly), has tons of mat zones and will comes with extra's such as spandex morphs, etc.
