Storybook Mouse question

I love this storybook mouse and would like to purchase. 

I have not purchased any Genesis 8.1 characters yet. So I have no idea how they work with older pose products for G8.

I know that G8 clothes work, but will the G8 poses work on this mouse?

    I have not to date had any trouble using G8M poses on G8.1M.
