What's the benefit of exporting a DAZ scene as a RIB-file and to render them externally with 3Delight Standalone?

Is the external rendering faster?

What is the difference between 3Delight and Renderman?

    Exporting to RIB allows you to close down DS, which means the render engine can use the RAM that would otherwise be required for DS and the viewport scene display. Or, it allows you to work on another scene in DS while rendering.

    Renderman is essentially a specification which is used by a number of different render engines.

    3Delight is a RenderMan-compliant rendering program (software)

    Renderman (Pixar Renderman) is a proprietary photorealistic 3D rendering program mostly used in Studios (Disney etc..)
