Last year when the Legacy products appeared in DIM I immediately noticed I had most of them, but assuming they were just updates I installed all of them only to find I had a sudden loss C Drive disc space. Over recent weeks I've noticed with some old products (not sure if they're Legacy or not) that there are 2 of each icon in My Daz 3D Library and clicking on them one will state such as Version 4 and the other Version 5. An example is Genesis' GnElvenHair of which one icon says Version 0.05 and the accompanying identical icon says Version 0.06.So (a) are these the Legacy items?; and (b) if I uninstall the earlier version will I still be left with the latest one, or will both vanish?

DIM should not uninstall files that were already present on disc, as long as the main content directory used has not chnaged (that's where it places its list of already-present files).
The example I gave above, Genesis' GnElvenHair, is it a Legacy item? What I don't understand is how come I've got 2 versions of the same things, all of them older products.
Legacy can cover several different things, but certainly Genesis products could be. It is most likely fiels in the old .daz format (used by DS before version 4), so yes you could end up with two versions of the file - .duf and .daz, plus .daz and script-format presets and totally separate files in the Data folder.
Okay. Thanks!
