G8: pimples, zits, acne.. not just flat textures

Dows PhilW's "Lump Bumps Beauty Spots" work on G8? Can it be converted?

How does PhilW's package work in the frist place, does it use bump maps, height maps..?

The materials should work on Genesis 8 female, but they won't have the right UVs for Genesis 8.1 using the new UV set. The morphs are not HD so they should be transferrable using any of the standard tools or techniques.

The zits and stuff are attachments. These can be morphed; it does not morph the character itself. It works fine on G8 figs. Here's some applied to https://www.daz3d.com/myeong-for-genesis-8-female

  • I know it's designed for Genesis 3 Female, But I attempted to apply "Lumps, Bumps Beauty Spots" to a Genesis 8 Female Character.

However, Everytime I pose the Model the attachements misalign. I've tried parenting them to the body but that doesn't work.

They only seem to follow the body when i mess with Parameter Settings, moving the model through Translate and Rotate. But loading poses breaks it.

How do I go about Resolving That?

Try parenting them to the figure's face (or whatever bodypart they're supposed to follow), not to the full figure.

Parenting to the body will make them follow movements of the body node, not the bones - in order for aprenting to stand any chnace of working you would have to parent to the bone it moves with, but it wouldn't pick up morphs or shape changes caused by posing.
