Why Characters Lose their Eyes etc Once you delete them from Scene and Load them from The Folder?

When using DAZ to Unity Bridge works almost perefectly with Genesis 8  characters, the only little thing is a few things with transparency and eyeshaes but very little you just tick a checkbox and the eyelashes thing is fixed. That's if you send your character to unity and are ready to use that character in that open scene in Unity. But what if you dn't plan to use that character now and you delete it and it's still in the DAZ3d folder, but i notice that when you load it from the folder onto the scene. Eyes are white, eyelashes totally messed up AS BEFORE when unity bridge didn't exist.

So what's the solution? How can you load the characters from the folders and not have to go through all the hassles of ancient times to fix the eyes and eyelash transparency thing.

Try loading from the Prefab file created by the Daz to Unity Bridge rather than directly from the FBX.  If you have also deleted the Prefab generated by the Daz to Unity Bridge, then you can tell the Daz to Unity Bridge to generate a new Prefab:

    1. In the Project Pane, select the DTU file with the same name as your FBX file,
    2. Click "Daz3D->Create Unity Prefab from selected DTU" from the main menu.

In the inspector Pane, this DTU file will show up as "Import Settings (Daz 3DDTU Importer)" when you select it in the Project Pane.  If you have also deleted the DTU file, then you can try one last trick: find the Materials tab in the FBX, change Naming to "From Model's material", change Search to "Project-Wide", click "Search and Remap".  This last trick may find the wrong Material, expecially if you have multiple Daz Genesis characters in your Unity Project.
