How do You save your Fixed DAZCharacterPrefab back as a Prefab(to the same prefab)?

When you make a HDRP Unity file and then SEnd your character via DAZto unity Bridge it creates a DAz3d with your character as a prefab. But as you know not all daz stuf translates well you have to fix transparency issues and stuff with textures, . SO Once you do, how do you save that character that's on the scene back to the DAZ3D folder where the prefab for your character is and replace that prefab with your newly fixed character and save it as a prefab.? I tried dragging my character to the folder where the prefab was it jutst told me if i wanted to make a new prefab or create a varient of the prefab that was there. I chose creatre a varient. And then when i loaded that varient, it had nothing right...the textures were back to how i origially imported them with no fix in the transparency and nothing that i fixed.

So yeah i've been testing. And i fix my prefab in the scene, fix the textures and transparency and the eyes and eyelashes and then drag it back tp my folder to create a fixed prefab but then when i drag it back into a new scene or the same scene all the changes i made to  it and fixed are undone and it's like i wasted my time. All the transprency fixes, all the texture fixes are gone.  So how the heck do you save a prefab that saves your fixes ?

Maybe you should give a try:

    https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/494626/unofficial-updates-for-daztounity-bridge-urp-built-in-pbrskin-anims#latest

It fixes a lot of different troubles.

This sounds like you are modifying the Instance of the prefab rather than directly opening up the prefab to make changes.  This is fine, but if you want to save your changes of an Instance back into the original Prefab, then you must apply all your overrides.  Refer to this page: https://docs.unity3d.com/Manual/EditingPrefabViaInstance.html
