How do I mirror a prop?

I have customized a prop to use as something it wasn't made for, lol, and I'd like a matching one on the opposite side of my character and am guessing duplicating then mirroring would be the best way. So how do I keep these dimensions but just flip them for the other side?

Set the scale to -100%.
