Does the daz installer install Bryce? I notice the actual Bryce installer does NOT get listed by the DIM. Of course I can install manually, but just wanted to double check to make sure. The DIM set up the paths of all the other Daz programs, I just want to make sure when installed, the other programs are "aware" that Bryce is there so they all play nice together.

We (as in We, the Brycers)  do recommend a manual install, using the .exe file.
