I might have to pick this up myself. I'm always creating thumbnails for my own content, and freebies I've found on the world wide webs.

Considering all this stuff I have to package up and PNG creation is the bane of my existence, this went quickly into the basket.

I had to make about 200 thumbnails yesterday... it was so nice to set things up and have DS do most of the work while I watched YouTube videos.

Nope, for the other project that side tracked me from the male set, unfortunately.

I don't understand where to find the base scene. I've changed the name in the scene tab, but now I'm lost!

You create the base scene, and then save it where ever you want to. Then start Thumbnail Mastery and select the .duf scene file that you saved, by pressing the button under the caption: Select Base Scene to load Thumbnail Preset .duf files to

The user's guide installs to your ReadMe's folder in you Content folder (My Library or Content or whatever you have selected as your content folder) It's name is 20504_thumbnail-mastery.pdf

I'll see about doing a screen capture of using it, and posting to YouTube

:) DAZ selects were they go from what I've seen... I use DIM, so what I do to figure out where things are is to open the .zip file and look where they're going to go.

It was an instant buy for me!
I have not tested it yet, but with around 100 thumbs per product, I will say 100 times "thank you" per day!

Set up your scene, if you want an obscure pixel size set that in your render settings. Test render and save it as your thumb back to the library so you make sure you have everything set up right, DS always cuts off the edges a bit. Save you scene anywhere you can find it easily.

Top most bar, browse to the scene you just saved, the other wide bars up top ignore.
Center of the three boxes across, click to add mats.. select your whole folder of matfiles. Right side of the three boxes chose the pixel size you want.

The boxes toward the bottom for adding background or overlay are pretty self explanatory.

Hit create thumbnails.. go watch youtube, wash dishes, have a life.. The little timer in the bottom right tells you how much longer basically you have to wait.

Thanks for the summary! ... Am I really forced to wash dishes or will it work anyway? Otherwise I want my 30 money back warranty!! A pluggin working only when I wash dishes? No way! xD

Did you remember to rename the object in the scene tab that is getting the matfiles applied to it? It's the very first thing the pdf tells you to do, just copy and paste the name it wants form the pdf to make sure it's right.

I thought it was the directory so it's the object, I've got an Anubis character that I want to apply the mat presets so all I have to do is rename that to DSThumnailFocus and save the scene and I should be good to go. Don't how I got renaming the directory in my head. Cheers

Of DraagonStorm releases something awesome! All her stuff are basically essential to ever DS user! Hell, she's even one of the few people left who actually creates backward support between G1 & G2! :)
