Rendering in B&W...how ?

Is it possible to render in black and white ?  I am making an animation video and I'm wondering if it is doable.

There are products you can get that will do this for you but they really aren't necessary. Just go to Render settings, tone mapping, and put the Saturation setting to zero. This will make your render come out in black and white. To change how many highlights/dark shadows there are, you can adjust "crush blacks" and "burn highlights," which is also on the Tone mapping part of render settings.

    Tone Mapping as said above.

Photoshop can batch apply a custom action to all frames if you want to use a more complex look. Sometimes I do this when I want to apply an image filter to an animation.

There are free video editors that can color adjust the video, DaVinci Resolve is a good free one.
