The order history updates are nice but show bit-rot for old orders.
I've been going through my oldest orders - I lost the emails on them about 9 years ago on a local disk crash - and I'm seeing a few "interesting" aberations on orders prior to 2011 (and they may apply to more recent ones, I just haven't gotten to them yet)
1) Regardless of purchase price, the MSRP for gift certificates has been $6.95 so far -- so a typical order shows I paid $72.00 for a $6.95 gift certificate.
2) Some orders have a credit (negative) discount to increase the price paid to match reality.
3) Some orders show a negative price for some items - the worst one so far was in October of 2010 where every item was -$0.12 and there was a credit discount; they were all PC items and re-pricing them at $0.88 each nicely cancelled the credit discount.
4) and the classic - apparently a give-away to PC members - where every purchase price was a negative of the MSRP and the credit discount brought the order to a total of zero - free.
Screen shots of the last two just for fun. (This has to be an artifact of not one but two store upgrades and the resulting detail loss).
I'm not complaining - just pointing out that you need to be willing to do some digging to get some of these orders to match reality.

I'm not surprised. It's something I've suspected for a long time.
