PostgreSQL CMS has stopped running

I have all of the usual symptoms... No content library... Log says error in connecting to CMS... Any ideas on how to get PostgreSQL CMS running again? There is a button that says Start CMS but it seems to do nothing.

    Check your Firewall isn't blocking access to the port that the CMS uses to communicate with DAZ. I use COMODO Firewall and had to allow access to the port before it would work properly.

    Was it working for a while, or has it failed ever since you installed it?

    It was working fine for months and suddenly stopped. My mac's firewall settings are unchanged.
