Prop is invisible and not showing in the surface tab

I have used these props for a very long time and never had a problem with it.

Not sure if that is because of Daz Studio 4.15.02 but, when I load the prop, it does not show in the viewport and not in the surface tab.

Can someone help, please?

None of the props in that product shows up.

  • Which product is this?

It is from Renderosity, the Vendor is Sveva. Artisan Accents Bohemian Candles.

I never had a problem with it but it is the first time that I used, or, wanted to use it in Daz Studio 4.15.02 and it did this.

First try to scale it up and down and looking for the bounding box (the white corners that indicate the objects spacial vertext bounds.)  But nevermind because you have no surface. Try reinstalling it. If that doesn't work, goto the install directory and find the OBJ or FBX files and try dragging them into the scene.Finding them in your daz content can be hard, because the icon location is not the location of the maps and meshes, so check your account in renderosity and there should be a tab or text file that lists the file path locations.

I tried that, to no avail

I never had a problem in DS 4.14, so not sure what is going on.

Did you try reinstalling? It's most likely not finding the mesh file or the mesh obj has become corrupted. I'll check and be back I might actually have this asset.

I uninstalled and reinstalled several times now, but it did not help.

Thank you so much for taking the time to help me :)

Your screenshot doesn't show enough of the screen to see if you have the prop loaded and selected in the Scene pane. You won't see any surfaces if you don't have the prop selected. Also, are you sure the camera is pointing at the prop. Again, we can't tell from your screenshot.

Hi barbult, I had the item selected in the scene tab.

Ok, this is crazy, now it works.

I decided to use DS offline and since I disconnected it works.

    Could that be the reason?

That really seems unlikely. Logging in will download metadata updates, but it shouldn't affect what you can see in your viewport.

I have no other explanation other than maybe DS was acting up.

Just glad I can use it again.

Thank you for taking the time helping me :)

I am not using smart content, so I do not really need to be logged in.

I am not using smart content, so I do not really need to be logged in.

Then I suggest that you log out and uncheck the box to log you in automatically, unless you use Daz Connect to install products. Then you need to be logged in. If you use DIM and never use Smart Content, I can't think of any reason to ever log in from inside Daz Studio.
