Is there any chance DAZ will ever revive and resell/release ancient retired content?

This question is for DAZ staff. Is there any chance DAZ will ever re-release (either for sale or free) ancient retired/vaulted content? I am in a situation where I could really use that old turkey dinner prop, the one with the articulated turkey (the one with the little chef hat leg covers, though I just need the turkey in this case). It stuck in my mind because it seemed so goofy at the time to articulate a cooked turkey, but it'd be perfect right now (and no I'm not scaling it down and recreating the dinner scene from Eraserhead, though that is an idea for another game).

    If it was a DAZ orginal... well, they did have a kind of vault sale back around the time of the Genesis launch when they ressurrected some of the V3 generation stuff and some other items, but it was a pretty small selection and, IIRC, tied into the released of the V3 & V4 generation Legacy shapes for Genesis.  Given the way that they're purging older products and vendors, though, it seems unlikely that they'll ever do it again.   And if was a PA product, your only chance is if that PA has left DAZ and has started up a store on their own or via Renderosity.

    so I must have missed it too

    I definitely do have a Carrara animated turkey though made by a Carrara user

    I did try to find it but after Google landed me on a site claiming iPad was infected with 3 viruses I couldn't get of off without using a bookmark I gave up,

    pretty sure it was an unrigged redistributable freebie somewhere consisting of pieces they rigged in Carrara using a CMU BVH but a very old post (7years ago) in stupid thread I grabbed my gif from.

    no I realised that was my iClone one

    and the carrara one used a native carrara turkey

    I don't have the rigged one but not hard to do

    I long wanted those funny alien dogs that were once in the store. I'm sure they are strange now, but I have a fascination for all things doggo, and there are certainly worse older looking stuff in the store. Bring back the alien doggos! wink

    I really like those cats, and the dogs are interesting too. I hadn't seen either of those.

    Thanks, Wendy! I hadn't looked in Carrara's content much, and didn't realize I had that turkey. It's probably close enough for initial tests, and if I like it I can recreate what I'm missing probably easily enough from that. Happy New Year!
