How can I recover a file I saved days ago?

I need to recover a scene of daz I saved last saturday. I have the file, I've modified it, but I need the modifications I made last saturday. How can I get it?

I think restore point wouldn't work, it restores system, but not files. Any idea?

    depends on the opearting system you use. Windows? macOS? I can only help with macOS...

    Sometimes you can right click the file and there is an option to restore a previous version. This will only work if there was a restore point from earlier, though.
