Is the readme's taken out of service?

For more than half of the new products I've bought recently, the readme's in the readme directory fail to show. For instance with the new  G8M character Niko and Tuti for Nico, Trojan princess for G8F, Harvest fiest, Delta Haze clothings, Ekialys NY et cetera. You are either met with the message :

This is a placeholder for the product Read Me - this product has not yet been publicly released. Keep an eye on the New Releases section of the DAZ 3D Store for the product to become available, then check back here for more information.

Does this mean that DAZ is stopping the support of readme's completely?

No, it means there's a bug with them right now.

It just means that Daz is struggling with the conversion.

They should have better placeholder screens though.  They're just making themselves look unprofessional with all this broken stuff hanging out everywhere.

    It's still not working.

Can't we please have the renders back into the packages we download instead? Would save us a lot of time spent cutting and pasting readme's for every object purchased. And with some 40% of the readme's not working on top of that, it's become a hair tearing struggle, that takes away time and energy from creating.

Well, obviously we shall just buy, not work with the bought stuff-

Jack, can they add the install location info from the readme file to the product page? 90% of the time that is what I need the readme for, with the rest being to quickly access the said pdf or to check the listed files for "Are poses etc. included?" Thanks.

If it's a matter of "where do I find it?" but you know the name of the product: search for it in Content Library, then right-click the product in the search results and select "Show in mapped folders." It can take a second or so to kick in, but will take you to the installed place in Content Library. Not at my computer so not sure of exact wording. Also not sure if it works from Smart Content.
