Vascularity HD for Genesis not working (Problem Solved)

Recently bought Vascularity HD for Genesis (http://www.daz3d.com/new-releases/vascularity-hd-for-genesis). Installed it (manually) and tried it on my Genesis figures. (I selected my Genesis figure in the scene, went to 'Parameters' ---> 'Actor' and tried out some of the vascularity morphs.) I saw nothing at all when I rendered the scene.

I figured maybe I needed to start with a fresh Genesis figure. So I tried that. Still nothing at all.

Tried finding a 'Readme' in what I bought which would explain how I should use the thing. Nothing.

Help, please? Thanks. (For DAZ Studio I used Version 4.6.0.18 Pro Edition (64-bit), in case that's got anything to do with it.)

Might try re-installing the morphs, make sure they're installed to the same place as Genesis. There really isn't a whole lot to using them, just dial the morphs to whatever strength you prefer.

Also, make sure you're using the correct version - the morphs you posted are for the Genesis 1 figure, there's a separate set for the Genesis 2 figures.

I'm pretty sure you need to update DS - 4.6.0.18 is quite old now and may well pre-date HD morphs (even if it doesn't I seem to recall it had a couple of nuisance bugs).

Richard, Hellboy is having the same issue. http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/44298/P45/ Can you ask Daz to see if there is indeed a problem? Could be the installer. I tried the manual install for G1 version and it worked..Have not tested the Dim version.

At least I now know I'm not the only one. ;-)

Guess I'll just have to go through the trouble of updating my version of DAZ Studio, just to see if it goes well this time...

Try the manual download of the product and tell me if the problem remains. I don't really use Dim so I cant test that version. My content is set up for manual installs only because my paths are all custom.

Upgraded DAZ Studio to 4.6.3.52, uninstalled and re-installed Vascularity HD for Genesis. Yup, it worked this time! :-) Thanks for the help, fellas!

All the trouble one has to go through to make something work...

I bought Vasularity HD for Gen 2 to use on my 32 bit Win7 system not reading any of the threads before the purchase. It will not work with my current setup. I purchased the app back in October so I know I am out of luck as far as returning. I am hard headed and kept trying to get it to work. It would be helpful for others if a disclaimer is added to the Store front, saying it is designed for 64 bit systems. had I known ahead of time, I never would have purchased it. It is a great product and I am sorry that I cannot enjoy it. I did however, purchase Add Some Veins and it works great with my system.
