V6 and the Poser cloth room

I want to use V6/G2F in the Poser cloth room and a simple cr2 export/import works fine. (of V6 that is)
Simulation is quick and crisp. But when I use DSon simulation slows to a crawl and the result is not good. Same with all resolutions.

Any idea why?

    Ok lets do it. Anyway it is not important I can live with export of the V6 cr2 file.

    It is just so that I have this insatiable curiosity and want to know why. I could understand it if it was high res that slow things down. But when I set the resolution to basic 0 or even turn off subdivision and it doesn't help I am confounded. Otherwise DSon works fine on my very new computer.
