They are geografts so each works better with their intended figure. [much better actually as there is also a shell or something with them].
Thanks for the advice. Though the G2F version seemed to work ok, I picked up the G2M version anyway. The price worked out well.
On the subject of price: does anyone have any idea why the Add-On pack still has the 30% intro discount but the character morphs have lost their intro discount, even though (according to the ReadMe's) they were released on the same day?
A quick render of a mix with Lee.
Pretty cool stuff. Just a few test renders...
OK, am I blind or does the creature creator stuff for Genesis2 not include the "Cow" and "Goat" head morphs that have been present in earlier generations? :-(
Great images, ryemac3.
Everything Grows Old
Not so much a creature but made with the creature morphs the wizard makes a cool older guy, texture set was MrHyde used on G2M.
steve.
Very nice image. If I may say so, he reminds me somewhat of James Carville.
I haven't tried Mr. Hyde on G2M, did you have to do anything to the UVs, or does it use one of the standard sets? Not remembering right off.

Hi StoryPilot
Thanks not sure who James Carville is but will look him up now..lol MrHyde uses the M4 UV's so you would need the M4 for G2m male, but it does make a good old skin look, I disabled all displacement maps on the mr hyde textures as it was a bit too much with them.
Ah good, thank you for the info, yes, I have that, I will have to bring him out, it's a good skin I haven't been using as much. I'd mentally lumped him in with the troll and monstrosities, even though I know he isn't one and is one of smay's, and those others all have unique UVs... I've been wanting to use undead fiend skin on G2M with the creature creator, but I believe I'd need to do map transfer to make it happen. (also good note about the displacement maps :) ).
James Carville is the annoyingly blunt, loud, and crude political commentator that gained fame during the Clinton Presidential campaigns. Every time I see him on TV I cringe waiting for something entertaining (though probably banal) to come out of his mouth. Truly I think he would be more at home at a southern BBQ with plenty of lubricating beverages handy.
But the image above DOES look like him on one of his bad days. 8-o

Oops, double post.
Here is the render I did all night last night.
Here is a villain from my Stonesheart trilogy.
A few I have done, Kung-Fu Frog is still a work in progress.
Group of five was straight out of the box with various M4 skins from some excellent M4 products.
Double portrait is a mix of G2F with A3 morphs that have been GenX2ed.
Alien male head portrait is a mix of G2M with Genesis & M4 & M3 morphs that have been GenX2ed.
Love what everyone has done to genesis 2 male!
I'm guessing not since it was made specifically for DAZ Studio.
But I could be wrong (and frequently am).
This goes in a different direction since I'm not really a monster person I guess.
Anyway I used Capsces Elven morph for CC Genesis 2 Male and softened it a bit with puppeteer....
Here we have.....a duet
Don't know what I'm doing wrong, but I can't get the basic body shapes for Gen 2 Male creature creator to work in Poser. The dials are there, just nothing happens (HD works and the add-ons, just not the body shapes e.g. Zombie etc). It works in DAZ studio. Works fine for Genesis 2 Female, just not the Male.
Any ideas? All other dyson stuff is fine. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the files, but no luck.
*edit... figured out what was doing it. It wasn't just the Creature Creator morphs not working on the Gen 2 Male, a few other weren't either (like Lee 6 for instance wasn't doing anything either). My library content location isn't in the default position for either DAZ or Poser but on another drive, which is fine, but in Poser the DSON Importer Preferences weren't quite pointing to it (Scripts / DSON Support / Importer Preferences), I cleared and changed the cache location (to save the space on my OS drive) and pointed the Writeable Runtime Folder to my own Content folder. Goodness knows why it was only on the Gen 2 Male and only a few of the morphs on it that threw up problems. All my other Genesis male/female and Genesis 2 female morphs were absolutely fine.

My creatures feel a bit incomplete without G2M genitals, since corresponding genital textures are not included is there a way to accurately create genital textures from the body textures, or some type texture creation guide?
Not really. You can use the clone tool from a 2D program, but you'll still need a 3D one when using G2M gens because it's a geograft and that's the only way to make the edges match properly.
You might be better off using the M4 or one of the free .cr2 gen sets with Jepe's expansions, using the transmaps they come with, and cloning the zombie/furry/scaly skin over one of the textures they come with.
I've got a tutorial on setting these up with weight-mapping, too:
http://sickleyield.deviantart.com/journal/Tutorial-Prepping-CR2-Gens-for-G2M-470013331
There are some good render artists who mainly still use .cr2 gens with G2M because of Jepe's work and their (paradoxically) greater flexibility in using any given texture with any given body.
I know this is an older thread, just came back from a very long hiatus.
Does the Creature Creator HD for Genesis 2 Male work in Carrara or not? If there is some trick behind it, pls point me to a link or explain :)
Because I installed it with the Install Manager from Daz3D and cannot find it. Weird enough, the Creature Creator HD for G2 Female seems to work and also appears in Carrara. Only the male version doesn't... :-/ where is the logic behind that?!
Oh, and Nope - I do not like to work with DazStudio - I really tried but I hate that Interface and the lack of felxibility I learned to value in Carrara.
In that I am adamant. I prefer Carrara 8.5 Pro for various reasons :-)
Quick question, I already own the regular version, will there be a discount if I buy the HD version? Thanks.
