Transferring Poses, OR, Using Another Engine in DS

I'm wondering if there is an effort to make Poses transferable from DAZ Studio to 3ds Maz, or to any of the other 3rd party applicaitons. Or, perhaps a better soluton would be to make another rendering engine, such as the Arnold Engine, available within DAZ Studio. Are there any ongoing efforts in either direction?
