That's NOT a "realistic" Police Woman Outfit

I live in phoenix where it's 115 for weeks on end... yet never see active police outside without chest armor like: https://www.galls.com/cpx2500-upper-body-shoulder-protection?PMWTNO=000000000002200&PMSRCH=. Modern police often have a camera and microphone and a lot more gadgets on their belts.

In my volunteer job, I see them every day- don't know how they can hold up to the heat in all the gear they have to wear!

When I see products like this, I wonder why is it that the male characters get decent looking uniforms and so on.. While female characters get uniforms that have them look like they work at a strip club and not a police station, fire station or hospital.. Although the last two have been finally done, it is still difficult to find a female police officers uniform..

On some brutal days they may think of taking a day off, but I'm quite sure that most of them don't want to be called cop outs.

I have the Law Enforcement Officer Bundle for G3M/G2M and it's by far the best in the DAZ Store as far as fitting will and bending to shape when posed. It's a matter of making new badges, patches, and uniform colors and you would wind up with uniforms for 90% of the police in the USA.

Kind of ignoring the RCMP there, and it's certainly not all the same across the U.S. by a long shot.  I live in Houston Texas and just within our general area we have something like 40 different police orgainizations that you're liable to see driving by in a single day from the Texas Highway Patrol, Houston Police, Harris County Constables, Metro Police, Texas Rangers, US Marshalls, the Port Police, DPS, plus campus police for at least a dozen different universities and multiple incorporated town that have their own small Police departments.  Many of them are similar, but many are not, and it's not uncomon to see a Marshal and a Sheriff pulled up alongside the HPD or constables.  I just grabbed a few images to show some of the variety but I hit the load limit at 6 images so I tried to get the widest visual range..    (edit - just noticed that one of them is actually from Virginia, but wa\e have a service that wears an almost identical uniform.)

Mounties don't patrol in the red serge if that's what you're thinking.  Those are dress uniforms only worn on formal occasions and for stuff like the Musical Ride.  What distinguishes RCMP uniforms is a yellow stripe down the pant leg and around the frame.  The various provincial and municipal police departments are different again. 

There's no accounting for every single variation, so as long as it's got some texture options, anything that's not embarrassing would be welcome.  But yeah.  This is definitely a stripper cop uniform.

Unless they first came to Chicago on the trail of the killers of their father and, for reasons that don't need exploring at this juncture, have remained, attached as liaison officer with the Canadian Consulate.

Due South but Northern Exposure was so good too, just don't pay attention to the story and watch the scenery and Janine Turner instead.

Its claim to be realistic blurs the line on a claim of being real; it suggest to me at least that you might see police women wearing something similar; other than the shirt being open too much imo, I would agree.

The way people throw the word "realism" around, it may not actually be as "realistic" as the product pages claim it is, or something you'd be able to see in real life in an area near you.

The badge is always going to be a problem if it's part of the shirt texture. There's a prop M3 police badge I use on my police people and I just get rid of the shirt-texture one.

Has a separate badge too. If I wanted a female officer, I'd likely use this set on a female.

what i hate in that "separated stuffs, specially nowdays is which "they don't work" outside daz, when you try to export those stuffs which where "attached" to the outfit, they just bug and when you try to ""attach them" properlly to the outfit(make then move with the outfit" inside daz it bugs a lot and don't work, the only way or make it work outside daz would be go to maya or blender and attach then to the body using those programs.

 

it is ending making me have some outfits "without buttoms" because many buttons in many outfits where "attached' to the outfit and not proper part of it.

they don't work in iClone either 

if I know are pinned I export them separately as props and attach them in iClone

Yes there is a genesis 3, I use one atm. but there are a lot problems, the shoes doesnt fit anyway and there are a lot pokethroughs.

"Buttoned up" means "no button is left open or unfastened." @Cybersox is pointing out that on this outfit, the shirt is opened/unbuttoned from collar to mid-chest, exposing collar bones and chest/cleavage. As he said, per regulstions, most police (& EMS, military, etc.) MUST wear the shirt completely buttoned, and this is regardless of the officer's gender.
