Kendo props and/or clothes.

I'm looking for a shinai and bōgu aka the sword and armor used in Kendo. Does anyone know where to find these? Free or paid doesn't matter. So far the best I've found in my searches is just a simple wooden sword.

Both are good modelers with quality freebies.

As far as Bogu, I have yet to see one available other than an old one offered (purchase) by Phil C for DAZ's Micheal 2 here:

I don't find it realistic in design at all, and the Shinai leaves a lot to be desired (simple "whole" bamboo from looks of it), but you do get three outfits included in the set, and with a little work you could alter it to suffice.

Phil C is a master at Python scripting, and creates great software. He is a good modeler, but some of his work just isn't up to realistic standards.

I created my own (realistic) Bogu for my use, but it is unfinished on one of my hard drives somewhere. One day I will get back to that project, and release it into the wild.

Also, I have seen an excellent render of a Kendoka on a Japanese Poser site years ago with a very realistic Bogu, and I searched high-n-low to find it available to no avail. I suspect the artist created it themselves for the render.

If anyone comes across a good one please post it here as I would be interested in it too.

No shinai model is complete w/o morphs for breaking on student's.
