...legendary radio DJ and longtime host of the weekly America's Top 40 show, Casey Kasem, passed on to that control booth in the sky today. He was 82.

    We were coming up with Top 40 songs for up there.... Stairway to Heaven is probably still #1.

    He was also the original voice for Shaggy on Scobby-Doo. He's gone to explore one last mystery...

    I loved the long distance dedications feature and his signature sign off.

    I read this in today's NY Times eNewsletter, and couldn't believe it. I listened to his show all the time. RIP Casey.
