Figures disappear when rendering and getting frames msg when posing figures - may be related

When I was setting up my scene, anything I did to my figures generated a message about frames (see pic). When I finally set everything, I went to render and the figures disappear, but show up in the preview. Using D/S 4.6 Pro 64 bit. I can give more info if needed, but not sure what else to add.

    Say "yes" and then run the Timeline to see all the action ;-)

    I can try that, but at no point was I trying to do or load any animation so I'm not sure what might have triggered that.
