Yesterday's countdown items not showing discount?

I put two items in my cart, "Raw Energy Effects" from today's new releases, and "Gemling for Genesis II" from yesterday's new releases. The first came up properly, with the 30% initial discount and my 20% from the punches. The second only got the 30%. Is the punch discount only good on the first day? I was sure it worked earlier in the month on a yesterday item.
