Saving V4 to G8 wearable preset

If I wanted to save something from V4 as a wearable preset for G8 do I have to save it to g1,g2,g3 then g8 or can I directly go from v4 to g8

    Is it a rigged item or a smartprop?

    If you have autofit clones to go directly from V4 to G8 you don't need the intervening steps.

    Just V4 to G1 and G1 to G8.

    Or dForce V4.
