Original post below:

Hi all,

I'm looking to add a couple of beta testers to my team. If you're interested, either reply here or drop me a PM - mostly first-come first-served but previous experience is a bonus.

As a beta tester you'd be expected to load up the set/props, try out all the options and make a render or two to test that things look as they should. Optionally you can give opinions on the set and suggestions for improvement. In return you get the set for free (and if you fulfill your end of the bargain you get invited back for future sets too - see my store for the kind of thing I get up to ;) ). Currently this is Daz Studio and Iray only (though if you want to convert it for 3DL/other and try it out there, that's up to you).

The pics below are unfinished (grainy) renders and I still need to add the decorations (some pics on the walls and maybe a plant or two), but hopefully give you enough of an idea to see if you're interested.

Mrs Millie's Transforming Speakeasy (working title) is a fantasy prohibition era speakeasy, disguised as a tea shop. The tables and walls rotate into a hidden private room to hide the booze and the more 'wanted' clientele when the cops arrive, replacing them with tables laden with wholesome tea. (The shelves behind the counter also rotate in this way). A basic stage with a mic-stand for entertainment is also included, as is a 'facade' exterior (front-only, no sides to the building). The door has a peephole with sliding cover so the doorman can ask you for the password before letting you in.

Any questions - just ask :)

If you need a complete incompetent, happy to oblige.

LOL, well, I guess it wouldn't hurt to get feedback from all levels of end-user. Consider yourself in (I'll PM next week with the link)
And with the others via PM, the new positions are now filled.

    Thanks :)

If you need another, just let me know, I've been rendering over 20 years now.

    Hey,

I'm actually getting a free HP Pavilion Gaming 15-dk0056 Laptop via FedEx tomorrow with an nVidia GeForce GTX 1650 with 4GB RAM tomorrow and I'd love to see all the Art Deco elements your adding.

I'm going to try and share on my local WiFi network my DAZ Content Library so my laptop has full access just by installing DAZ Studio & DIM on my new laptop so this would be a good opportunity for me to test that too.

    Thanks.

    Ciao,

    Andy

^sounds good Andy (who's on the team already) - hope it works. Thanks, Wendy :) @ericolsen , I guess one more wouldn't hurt but that's definitely the last spot :)
  • Best of luck... Can't wait to see what the team comes up with!
