i WANT fireflies in my iray render! [solved]

... tho not the annoying iray fireflies type that appears when there isn't enough light etc, not the kind you wanna denoise at all costs.
i want REAL fireflies, the glowing insect type.
and i could have sworn i had seen some recently somewhere, even possibly for iray. because i actually own an old model, DNA scatter, but i'm not so happy with it, and i'm sure i have seen something more recent. might be pay here at daz, in another shop, or a freebie on one of the most common platform. dunno if it's called firefly, fireflies, firebug...
problem being, if i google iray and fireflies... gazillions of results come up - all related to the annoying type mentioned above >_<
so, anyone having an idea where i can find those good iray fireflies (or at least 3dl, i can handle the light)
EDIT: i think in the product i saw, there was even a jar included... which isn't the case with the scatter, that's why i'm sure it's not this one.
a doubt is creeping into my head tho - recently, i also searched for real IRL led lamps, and came across a jar with led made to look like fireflies. not impossible that my addled brain is mixing things up TT'

These perhaps?

those are the ones i have,i bought them back @ RDNA...
Sickleyield also has a scatter that includes an Iraq firefly cloud.
thank you ^^ - i don't think i ever noticed that one! i'll wishlist it. still don't think it's the product i saw, but this might be an interesting alternative ^^

YESSSS! that's the one! thank you @Gordig!
oooof, i'm reassured i actually saw an iray item - and didn't confuzzle myself with the led jar from the IRL catalog XDD
EDIT: i really had to laugh as i saw the bugs' vendor: theAntfarm...
Hmmm. I didn't know theirs were any different than anyone else's. It's not one of those things like ladybugs that sting or murder hornets, is it?
I had the same problem when I wanted to buy this. It took quite a bit of searching to track it down.
Firefly models? Here's a particularly shiny one.
Are we allowed to post SketchFab links?
its not the Persian variety but closely related
Long as it's not australian, all their bugs are the size of volkswagons. Their fireflies probably hunt dingos and stuff
well that make's me rather glad we don't have them AFAIK because you would be right
lmao.. hard to trap into a jar. unless you have a huge badass alien jar the size of a skyscraper XD. and a swarm of those is not exactly what i imagine under "romantic outdoor lighting" ^^
i think they meant Iray..
what's this about ladybugs stinging and murdering hornets? ?? for real? my windows are so crappy, some insects manage to squirm thru the aeration canals.. luckily moskitoes don't crawl, but in fall i had up to 50 houseflies PER DAY in a room with CLOSED windows, and about 10 ladybugs. i swatted the flies - i mean, living beings 'n all, but 50 per day when i have cats and their food, not to mention litterboxes, no way - however i carried out carefully the ladybugs in a container... cuz while they're cute, i know they can make insanely huge nests in houses,.but kill hornets??
the damned midges (no see ums) get through my flywire and they bite
yes we know they meant iray but it was funny
Harmonia axyridis, aka "Asian lady beetles", are aggressive ladybugs with powerful bites. They're usually orange, while common American and European ladybugs are most often red, but both species can range from yellow to ladybug red, so you really need to look for the white "M" behind the head. They were brought into the country to deal more aggressively with crop-damaging insects, and spread beyond the areas they were introduced. They will eventually replace all the ladybugs like the ones we grew up with.
I'm not telling you to "murder hornets", LOL. Vespa mandarinia, aka "Asian giant hornets", are efficient killers, hence the popular nickname "murder hornets". These were not brought into the country deliberately, we hope. A queen probably hitched a ride with some cargo containers. It's like someone said "I'm not choosing between quality and quantity: I want both" and made these flying nightmares. They grow to about 2 inches long, with 3 inch wingspans (they're often described as "thumb sized"). Their enormous stingers penetrate clothing (including American and European beekeeper clothing) and keeping with that "quality and quantity" theme, the venom is both powerful and plentiful. Depending on which source you trust, they kill anywhere from 10-50 people a year in Japan.
You know how a bee finds some pollen-rich flowers and heads back to the hive to tell the other bees about it, so a bunch of bees can come back and harvest those flowers, carrying pollen back to the hive? A murder hornet finds a beehive, rounds up a few buddies, and they harvest the bees, decapitating all the bees in the hive with large, powerful mandibals, then leisurely carrying bee carcasses back to their nest.
It's similar to how weasels goes on a killing spree and tear apart every chicken in the coup, even though they can only eat part of one chicken. The program is "kill until there's nothing left, then sort it out".
yup, a few rare tiny flies - gnats or midges, no idea - manage to get thru my metallic flywire too >_<
funny enough tho i have less tiny flies getting thru the wire than those average size house flies getting thru the totally closed window in fall >_<
yup, i know about the difference between european and asian ladybugs ^^ - i looked up ladybug as i saw a bunch of maybe 30 individuals stuck to my window frame last fall (this house is by far not the worst piece of *** i've lived in, but it's a real insect hotel, i moved in lexactly 1 year ago, and i had invasion waves of 5 or 6 different species, mostly flies of different sizes/types, and the ladybugs tried too) - and they were obviously Harmonia due to the multicolored bugs. i unstuck the bunch, sprayed natural citronella oil, and they never came back. might be their wandering was just over tho, i'll see this fall if their pheromones survived a year...
aaaah, i got it all wrong. i didn't understand you telling me "to murder hornets" but i thought the ladybugs were killing hornets XDDD. so you meant killer as an adjective to hornet, all right.
wow, they sound frightening. i'm not even sure i ever saw an indigenous hornet here (europe) in my life... but those, i hope i will never meet. dunno if they made it to switzerland tho. so, that's what the gang in the animation "a bug's life" was inspired from (were they actually hornets or just wasps, don't remember)? but anyways... if i met one of those monsters, i wouldn't hesitate to kill/murder it - it's you or me buddy, i'm all for letting creatures live and karma and all, but once they get dangerous to me or my animal companions, it's war...
