Daz Pro 4.12.1.117 Not rendering IRAY at all

Hello!

Is anyone having this issue? I've upgraded from the previous version and didn't have any issues. Wanted to mess around in this version today only to set up a scene to render and nothing happened. I got a blank screen. I checked the error log and this is what I pulled out out of all the other messages of errors I didn't understand. IRAY   rend warn : There is no CUDA-capable GPU available to the iray photoreal renderer.

I see that there is another update available but I am not able to download that through the DIM. What's going on? DAZ

Thanks!

Make sure you have an up-to-date Nvidia driver -- Windows 10 has a habit of overwriting with older drivers.

    Hello!

I'm actually on a Mac Pro desktop using ATI Radeon HD 5870 1024 MB. Also says my graphic card is supported. I am wondering if a fresh re-install would work. All this just started happening.

  • AMD cards are not suported by Iray, only nVidia. CPU renderiing should, however, work.

    Richard,

Since when? I have this graphic card for a while and have had no issues with IRAY rendering. I just updated to 4.12.118 and the same error message I am recieving

2020-07-01 13:26:58.286 WARNING: /src/pluginsource/DzIrayRender/dzneuraymgr.cpp(353): Iray [ERROR] - IRAY:RENDER ::   1.3   IRAY   rend error: All workers failed: aborting render

I had an old copy of Daz 4.10 still installed. Ran that and I had no issues with rendering in IRAY.

    @Nick_1939

AMD video cards have never been supported by Iray. You may have mistakenly thought because Iray has always had the capability to render on CPU.

Yes, that may be true and in fact CPU is checked on the advance tab. What I want to know is if this new version and 4.1.117 made changes. 4.1.117 was rendering IRAY and now all of sudden not. 4.1.118 same thing happening.

There's nothing in the change log. You are getting the render window, just empty?

Yes! the render window pops up. Starts to render and then aborts. I've done nothing to my system in terms of changes. So it's weird that it was rendering previously and now it's not.

  • Maybe a silent driver update is affecting it.

As Richard says. 4.12.1.118 was a minor change form 4.1.117.

UPDATE: Here is my error log explaining my IRAY render Error but I have no idea what it's about. I'm also too expierencing a lot of duplicate formula file error messages as well. Any thoughts or help is appreciated. By the way, I was rendering fine with my AMD graphics card until I wasn't.

    THANKS!!!!
