Seeking feedback and beta testers for potential product

GordigGordig Posts: 10,599

Last week, someone posted a request for an item in the Product Suggestions forum. I decided it would be a fun challenge to try to model it, and a week later, I've got a small suite of products that I'd like to pitch to Daz when they're ready. In the meantime, I could use some help going over the product to see if there are any bugs, give feedback on the  functionality and overall quallity, and offer advice on how to improve it. If you're interested, please add your name to this thread, or PM me.

I'm interested if you still need a tester

Still looking, thanks. I'm going to start writing up some documentation, and give it a day or two to let more trickle in before I send anything out.

I'm interested too, if you need anyone else.

I can do some testing for you starting Wednesday if you still need testers.

An informal poll while we wait for more volunteers: how would you like to conduct this? I've done beta testing for a couple products before that were done through the forum's PM system, and I wasn't crazy about that, but if that's how the rest of  you would prefer to do this, I'm game. We could also do email, a Google doc, etc.

I have done several betas here via the PM system myself, so I am used to the creator sending me a link to files that way.

I have time to do a bit of  testing if you're still looking for more people.

I can do it via PM, Google Docs, or email. Whatever works best for everyone else will work for me.

Did these ever make it as or into a product?

The project stalled at a certain point because I am easily distracted, but I still have all the files.

    Wholly relatable!  <LOL>

but I still have all the files.

I'm interested -- I'm disappointed that it is so darn hard to find switches/buttons/levers/etc. AND that all the sets that have light switches on the walls don't offer on/off positioning for them.
