Content Directory Manager Presets?

So, I have a lot of content directory folders. Some are simply on different drives for size purposes, some are WIPs for my own products so I can isolate for testing, some are solely for morph files that are merchant resources, some are simply different morphs for G8F that I can choose to load or not load depending on what I'm doing, etc. Is there a way to save the content directory folders as presets? I would love to just save certain presets as to what folders are mapped without having to remove/add a growing number of folders each time.

Thanks in advance!

Content Sets can do what you wish.

That sounds like a useful feature. I do a lot of beta testing and have a bunch of separate content directories to isolate those products. I suggest you submit this to Daz as a suggestion by submitting a help request.

You can create Content Sets in Content Directory Manager that can have any combination of directories you want. Only one set can be active at a time, so you can have a "core" set with the main library and whichever directories you will always use, then another with the core directories and a selection of others that you want to work with, another with the core and another set of directories, and so on.

How long have these existed? I've never spotted them before - another of those "useful things I never knew..."

Wow, I never saw those either. Thanks, Richard. And thanks, Northof45, for the extra usage details.

Been there for a long time, just never had occasion to use that feature. I installed everything in one library (never thought it would grow so big), so couldn't really benefit until I had to copy it to a new, larger drive. I could swap between the two to make sure everything worked (well, not everything, spot checked some of it) before nuking the old one.

The Content Directory Manager has been there for a long time, at least throught DS 4, and the ability to create sets is ancient. The dialogue does have a What's This button for getting help.

The What's This button gives me a blank stare with about half the things I try it on.
