Auto Face Enhancer Question (for anyone that owns it)

I've been toying with the idea to get AFE because it makes the expressions on faces look so much more realistic. However, I have seen some renders where the AFE mesh was visible in the render (looked like a bunch of little squares on the skin depending on how light was hitting it). For anyone that owns it--is that a normal output or have some of these renders been done with incorrect settings? I don't own it, so I can't really test it, but I was wondering if those artifacts were a problem with the product. Is there a manual for the product I can look at before buying it?

There's a thread over in the commercial section

If you go to the Commericial thread in the forums for the AFE products and ask you'll get the answer but I think they said it was normal. I've noticed it on mine when use AFE with really strong expressions too. The PA, D.Master told another user how to do an export & smoothing & import & smoothing process (or something like that) to solve that problem. I remember it didn't seem too bad but I haven't tried it because I think it might of required ZBrush.
Thanks, guys. I'll pop over to that thread and take a look at the conversation to see if it addresses my concerns. Appreciate the guidance.
