Purchased Items no Longer Available
Hi - So I've been reinstalling most of my Daz Studio library due to a harddrive failure and have come across several items that I purchased that seem to no longer exist in the store. I thought that even if items were pulled, they were supposed to be still available to dl from my Product Library, but they don't even appear there, and on the purchase order, even though there are the DL buttons, none of them work for these products, even the manual dl and install button does not work. I can't remember all of the items I am having trouble with but could probably find them - I am not even halfway through my library at this point so just basically want to know what I can do if anything about this problem?
The item I was having trouble with downloading suddenly let me dl it so - I will have to find other examples - otherwise disregard this post and thanks anyways! -Cathy

FWIW, your assumption that previously purchased but no-longer-in-the-store items should be available in your product library is correct, to my experience and understanding. I can download many items in my product library (DIM/Connect/DAZCentral?) that are long-gone from the store.
Not all stores do this, so it is an appreciated feature, but inspires me to *always* download and archive my product installers offline immediately after purchase - regardless my installation and usage plans. Exernal USB disk or thumbdrive, or CD/DVD backup for bunches at a time, etc.

Items that are simply retired due to becoming obsolete, would be still available for download in your product library, but if a product was pulled from the store for infringing copyright or trademark, that would be more legally complicated and likely not available at all. Extremely rare for that to happen.
The same thing happened to me several years back — half a dozen or so of my earliest purchases vanished from my Product Library listing, although I could still see them in the relevant Order/Invoice pages. I put in a support ticket and everything got fixed.
