Deleting an asset

Is there a way to delete a character and all its associated materials, etc. from Daz.  I want to delete some characters move them to a different folder of my drive.  Thanks.

    What installer did you use? Was it manual install?

    I use DIM, and I use that to uninstall. Manual installs are a little more ... manual when it comes to uninstalling, but it's not something I do, anyway.

    manually installed. I didn't use DIM as I was installing the content into separate folders for organization. Unfortunately, accidently installed an item in the wrong folder and want to delete and reinstall it in the correct folder.

    You can do this:

    1) Use DIM to install it in the wrong folder again, on top of the manual install.

    2) In DIM go to Settings( the gear in the top right) > Advanced Settings, go to the Installation tab, right-click on the (wrong) content folder you installed to and choose "Fix Installed File Registry" - this makes DIM think it was the only thing installing those files.

    3) Uninstall with DIM

    (DIM can handle multiple content folders, BTW).

    Not all my content is from Daz3d, so I like to use manual install to manage things ...when I don't screw it up. LOL
