How to make texture template from custom made model & UV?

Hi,
I made a simple model in MAYA and exported it as an OBJ. Now I imported it to DAZ. I want to apply custom textures and Bump maps to it (various designs). How can I do it? I think I need a texture template creator from UV. I can see the UV in UV View Under View BY Nodes.

Thats what I have done to get the UV. My problem is How to apply a texture on that UV so that the texture appears on the model.
if the model is UVmapped, then when you import it into DS, select the model and go to the surfaces tabe and that is where you apply the textures or shaders
You use the template as a guide for painting (or otherwise creating) a new texture file, then you apply it to the model by going to the Editor tab of the Surfaces pane, selecting the surface(s) you wish to apply it to in the list on the left, and clicking the micro-thumbnail/Daz logo next to the Diffuse (3delight)/Base (Iray) colour in the property list on the right, selecting Browse, and picking up your new map.
Just screenshot the viewport while displaying that UV view. That is your template. Or invest in UV Tailor.
