Trying to import models onto Daz, need help

Hello.  Started playing around with Daz very recently, and I'm trying to import some models to use.  However, no matter what I try, they don't seem to be appearing.

Was hoping someone could possibly provide some pointers on the matter.

Which version of DS (Help>About Daz Studio), what operating system, whata re you trying to import, how are you trying to import, where are they no appearing - in the scene when you are done, or earlier in the process when you are trying to select them for import?
