Weird posing problem

Can anyone tell me how these poses were made?

I'm trying to export the Full Nelason Hold as FBX one posed figure at a time, but the only way it imports correctly in 3DXchange is if at least one part of the 2nd figure is visible when i export/import.

I think I read that these poses use a script. I believe you can find the actual poses if you drill down into the data folder. You can view the file list here. Maybe applying them directly won't give you those issues when you export.
