DazConnect : Corrupted downloads

Hi,

I already uninstall/delete/install several times these products from my Content Library but DazConnect always installs corrupted files.

Can you tell me if these products are properly installed for you by using DazConnect please ?

Even the thumbnails are unreadable in Daz Studio and in Windows Explorer.

    I have the same issue with the Naval Uniform textures and the weapons - I put a bug report in at the end of the week. I don't have either of the others, so you will need to report them yourself.

    This is particularly disturbing when a working product is made unusable by a Daz Connect update. I finally got so fed up with this and other Daz Connect issues that I gave up and returned to using DIM.

    Contact the support team is a bad experience, I don't intend to try it again.

    Since Connect downloads are discrete, you can validate the integrity of the files in packages by downloading the offline .sep and .sea files for the ones having issues.

    This is what I do by default, the download is faster with a browser than Daz Studio. 

    Generally the offline files remain broken when online is fixed, probably because the cache is not synced yet. It's a matter of a few minutes or hours.

    Leon is isntalled correctly for me, and doesn't show any updates - please try uninstalliong and reinstalling, or if you've already done that unisntall, find its entry in Content Library>Products, right-click>Delete, restart DS, then Connect and when the refreshed metadata has downloaded try installing again.

    In fact the previous version was correctly installed, the update changed some poses which were corrupted then I uninstalled and deleted this product, closed Daz Studio. I re-opened DS and installed it but all the files are corrupted now.

    I can install the previous version with the previous offline files there is no issue. The update is corrupted.

    Be sure I tried it hundreds times before reporting it.

    Since October 2019 I spent my time to do it for all the corrupted products after checking 4122 of them one by one in order to know if they are properly installed.

     

    Already 16 reported products have been fixed.

    Well, as I said my copy of Leon is correct and shows no updates so I don't believe this is a general issue.

    Can you try with the offline files ( 1_59555.sea , 1_59555.sep ) please ?

     

    Those of "Nov 5, 2019" works but not the current ones.

    I can confirm Sci-Fi Outpost Props is corrupted through Connect.

    I had this kind of problem with Connect over and over. I got tired of writing help requests about this and waiting for Daz to fix it every time. I went back to using DIM and have not had any problem like this with DIM.

    Went through my products, and these were the ones that were corrupted, in addition to sci-fi outpost props.  It is frustrating when this happens, since you won't always know immediately if an update corrupted your files.  I'd go back to DIM, but I've noticed that those files aren't always updated alongside the Connect files - most of the products I listed were recently updated through Connect, but DIM doesn't show any updates.
