Pose converter

I purchased many clothing converters and had no problems using them. With this https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-3-to-genesis-8-pose-converter I can't use it because in addition to 4 introductory photos there are no detailed explanations on the product. Isn't there a video that explains how to use it? thanks

This is the path it gives me. I am unable to move forward

I would have sworn that there was a PDF manual included, but after checking, it appears not.

There is a suppost thread to post in if all else fails: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/173671/place-holder-thread-commercial

From your screenshot, the first button under "Converted Files Directory" - make this point to your People > Genesis 8 folder, and then make a folder in there named something like Gen3 to 8 Poses

Towards the bottom now, click "Add Pose Directory" and navigate to the Genesis 3 poses folder with the poses that you want to convert.

You will get a list of poses in the main window of Pose Convertor.  Unless you need the Metadata, I would untick the box at the bottom left, as it adds a lot of time to the conversion.

    Click Convert.

It will put the poses in the folder that you created inside there, with the original folders of the poses that you converted.  E.g. Gen3 to 8 Poses > People > Genesis 3 Male > Poses and so on.

Don't forget to refresh the folder in your content directory by right-clicking and selecting refresh, or restart Daz studio to see the new added poses.

I don't own this product but have other scripts by Zev0 that are similar. So I think what you need to do is: The first button you need to go to the folder that you want the converted poses saved to. Then you should be able to click on "Add Pose Directory" and navigate to the folder that has the poses that you want to convert. That should add a list of poses in the window. Highlight them and hit "Convert Files". Those should be the steps anyway. :)

Edit - Oops, looks like Dim Reaper beat me to it.

There can never be too much help - especially when we are all typing at the same time!

Thanks. It doesn't work like other scripts. I have 2 clothing converters, 1 iray converter, but this converter does not explain how to use it, and this is incorrect. Now thanks to your help I have started it, but there are still many things that are not clear to me on how to use them. The converter has been going for 30 minutes and is still halfway. is this normal?

It can be slow, Depending of of course...on how many poses you are converting.

The V4 to Genesis 2 Female converter is slow, but the later pose conversion scripts are pretty fast, particularly the G3 to G8 one. There is a progress wheel that goes round as it is converting, is that still moving for you?
