    You don't need the DIM Downloads after installing, and if you want to keep them for back-up that can be off the local disc. You could check for duplication between the stuff installed through Connect and the stuff installed through DIM and remove one. The DIM Manifest files tell DIM what it has installed, so don't remove them (they are small files anyway). Other than that I don't know which are dispensible for you and which are not.

    I'd move the DIM Downloads, just remember to change the path in DIM and remember to have the external drive connected whenever you use DIM.

    Yeah, do that. I recently removed all Connect files and had no idea of all the duplicates I had. Gained 20GB of drive space. Unless of course you prefer Connect.
