Daz has never performed so well for me...I really hope this is a good sign that they are truly working in compatibility for GTX again.

Hey, that's awesome to hear! smiley

Enjoy!  In less than 12 months time or so, when many of us have a 3080Ti, could be crazy how fast the renders come out then.  Expect to see many renders cheeky lol

If I am not mistaken, one cannot download beta as a standalone. In the meatime Mellisa has a valid point ticking CPU & GPU seems to giva a bit faster results...

No, you can have both. They have separate installation files, but use the same asset directory. One does no harm to the other.

Oh, to install the beta, you need to use that DIM program. They don't offer any other way for some reason.

That is what I said! It is not a stand alone which is why I refuse to use it. Im from the DS3 days I dont DIM..

Having said that the tip off re ticking CPU & GPU is definately getting me better results..

What's this sorcery?  I just tried RayAnt's benchmark with and without CPU - an older 7700k - and got worse results with the CPU than without it using the current beta.

In order for the beta to not overwrite the standard and be able run side by side with it, it (and the standard) need to be installed correctly and the only way to insure that is to use DIM.  There is nothing evil about DIM and if you run it first time in offline mode you can set your preferences to download and install where you like.
