How to add a .png texture to a Daz 4.12 object

Is there a way to add a .png texture to a Daz 4.12 object? I saw some nice grass textures I like but they're .png

Select the surface of the object, then in the Editor tab of the Surfaces pane click the micro-thumbnail next to the reelvant property and select Browse to load the map.
