trying to find Dynamic cloth control for 4.12

Hi tryed to use dyanic cloth control this morning was ok...this after noon couldnt even find it tin the windows drop down box. Tryed to indepenant install,,,all dynamic cloth references were gone from the windows pane...?  is that 50 mdollar product discontinued ?  Thanks

Did you install DS with DIM or with a stand-alone installer?

Search in DIM for "Dynamic Clothing Control".  There should be one matching every DS update.

each DAZ-supported program update comes with plugin updates that have to match that release version, so if you do an update of DS (one was just pushed out this week), you'll also need to get the specific plugin updates into the DAZ program folder as part of that update - whether you use dim, the exe-installers, or manually. BTW, These plugins must be available/installed in the Public/Beta builds too. Dynamic cloth, alembic, mimic, photoshop bridge, gozbrush bridge - and others - all have to be updated along with each DAZ program update.

If you unzip the downloadable DIM installer zipfile for the Dynamic Clothing package, you can generally see/figure out where things go - if you have a rough sense of DAZ's programs and content setups.

If it just stopped working/appearing (no update installed), my guess is that you may not be running the same DAZ version in both cases, and one has the dll/plugins, and the other(s) doesn't. (running a beta vs release?)

ETA: If you own it legitimately (w a serial number in your daz3d.com account), you will always have access to the plugin installers and serial number via your DAZ account library and DAZ account profile (for the SN).
