40% off PC+ Membership

Confused.

The "ad" here on DAZ3D (linked from the Email) says:

Get 40% OFF* when you buy any New Release

*Offer only applies to non PC+ Members. Items must be in cart simultaneously.

So, I added the PC+ to my cart and it showed a $7.00 discount (why?  I mean, that is not 40% off, and I found nothing to offer that discount).
Then, I clicked the link to New Release, and added the Nepher HD for Genesis 8 Female to my cart.
Went back to my cart and checked and yes, it gave me a discount on the PRODUCT not on the membership.
So, I went to check if maybe the membership is not discounted and only the product is...nope...because at the top of the page from the email link, you find THIS:

Notice the part I highlighted there...so how do I get THAT discount?  Anyone know?  I sent a message to DAZ3D, but that is pointless because they don't work on weekends, so I won't get an answer until it's too late anyhow.

Thanks for reading this far, and for any help that you may be able to provide, I really would like to get back into my 3D art--it's been over 15 years since I've actually been able to MAKE anything!!!

Also, note that on that page linked to the email, they also offer two different types of $6 coupon codes...one is for Honorary PC members, and the other is for PC+ members.  I mention this because at first I thought that maybe the honorary membership was preventing me from getting the discount as per the foot note at the bottom of the Annual Membership ad I posted above.  But they are two different things I've realized.

    I think the 10% is right, but the extra 40% with new releases isn't working in my test account either so I've flagged it up. If it isn't fixed you could open a support ticket while the offer was still pen, with a screen shot of the offer, and I'd hope support would be able to help in some way even if the offer was over by the time the ticket was processed.

    Hi Sabastina!

     

    First off, don't panic too much about this. Although the Daz sales team are not available right now, they'll see you contacted them when the sale was valid/on offer. How they handle tickets is 100% at their discretion BUT they are extremely fair, understanding and kind from my experience. You've done the right thing raising the ticket at the time that you have smiley

     

    In terms of assistance, is there anything else in your cart? PC is usually $70 so if you're seeing $7 off then that's 10%...  which is perhaps the discount offer without a new release. I can suggest clearing your cart, clearing your cache, make sure you don't have any coupons applied in case that's throwing it off, and then add the new release and THEN the membership using the "Buy Now" button in the sales banner. I'd test this for you myself, but I am PC+ so the offer doesn't extend to me (sadly lol as I'd love a wee 40% off my continued membership haha)

    If that still doesn't work... the site can be a little unpredictable sometimes (I couldn't get the free Victoria offer to work at all yesterday but now it's working fine!) so can only suggest keep trying later today and tomorrow and if still no joy, well, I'm sure CS will do all they can to help fix the issue for you come Monday heart

    I'm having exactly the same issue. I have the new release in my cart from their list on the sale page, I have the annual membership, and a few other select daz originals. Additionally the new "SIX-FOR-MAY" code isn't working either. 
     

    glad it's not just me... perhaps I'll wait a bit to see if it updates later and if not I will make a ticket as well.

    Sorry to keep posting updates despite my posts not being approved yet, but I think the issue is that the store is reading everyone as already being a pc+ member for some reason. While I can't get the honorary pc+ coupon to work, the regular pc+ coupon does, even though I've never had an actual membership. How can we let the sales staff know?

    The discount on membership is for non-members only.

    Thanks to everyone!

    It finally worked here are details:

    I had the stuff I wanted in my cart and decided to buy a couple more items before checking out.  So, I went to another page [I think it was the Victoria page] and ended up getting a new release from THAT page so that I could get the victoria stuff free.  When I went back to the cart, everything was exactly what it was supposed to be!
    So, I ended up removing the more expensive product that I really didn't need atm, but was only getting to get the discount on the membership and just bought the Victoria stuff that was in my cart.

    Also realized that some of the coupons do NOT work if you have ANYTHING that has a cost of $0.00 in your cart.  So be aware of that.

    Yeah, coupons & free items don't play nicely together, including the monthly ones for PC+ (you won't get the full value of them with free items). So the best advice I have heard is to always "buy" free items in a separate cart, unless it's required they be with other items for a deal.
