dForce chain or necklace by itself?

Does anyone happen to know if there are any free or low-priced very simple chains or necklace props that utilize dForce? I just need something simple to drape over a prop without a lot of hassle and thought I'd ask before I go trying to add dforce modifiers to a primitive and cause a geometry explosion. :) Thanks in advance.

I bought this but haven't had a chance to use it yet - https://www.renderosity.com/mod/bcs/swt-dforce-dynamic-chains-merchant-resource/142137/
I am very curious how that works also. I have seen/tried nearly all products that dforce chains and ropes and none give good results.
I did find that in a search, but it's way too expensive for what I need now.
This is the cheapest necklace I own: https://www.daz3d.com/rdna-leaf-jewels-crowns-and-necklaces So I thought I'd try that. I added dForce modifier to the necklace (I tried the one with the single leaf pendant) and the necklace exploded. So I turned off self collide and added subD and it simulated ok, but the pedant came off completely. So I don't know if that would work for your needs.
I'm sure you could add like a gold/metal shader to make it look more like a chain or gold necklace.
It's a merchant resource, so perhaps we will start seeing a few necklaces and bracelets with dForce soon.
Not cheap but you might be interested in this set if it goes on sale: https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-necklace-merchant-resource
There is this
https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-1920s-boudoir-outfit-for-genesis-8-females
not by itself but it contains a necklace and choker.
Found this
https://www.sharecg.com/v/52306/browse/11/Poser/Dynamic-Graduated-Necklace
That's Poser dynamic, though, so no guarantee it would work with dForce.
Yes I'm aware of that but it may and its free so no harm in trying.
But don't worry I won't bother next time.
You may be, I'm mentioning it in case other people interested in the answer are not.
It's indeed worth a try.
The pendant could be saved as a separate prop, then added as a follower, although it will affect how the chain (or whatever) simulates, but that would also be true in real physics, which dforce simulates.
I've tried it, and it touched a bit with the chest :(
Before or after simulation? There might be morphs to help you adjust it.
No morphs listed. It really is a MR, and not something ready to use out of the box.
There are adjustment morphs included, they're even listed on the product page. And it's definitely usable out of the box.
I love MADAs products but I could never get that product to work well.
I'll try a simple chain prop I have with self-colliding off and see if that will do what I need. Thanks for the suggestions so far.
edit: OK apparently I don't know anything about using dForce unless the object is already optimized for it because everything I try applying a dynamic surface to just distorts like mad and flies off the screen. I'll just paint the darn thing in Photoshop.
This was about the one at Rendo.
im confused by how this product works.
How are they able to dforce something while maintaining the rigid shape of the links?
Are they just rigid-follow objects on a strip of d-forced fabric which has opacity set to zero or something.
The post you answered to was about the one from here.
