Hey everyone, we have a new update for Daz Studio for you all to test out. The latest beta of Daz Studio is a release candidate and will quickly become the next general release of Daz Studio. I would ask that any of you that can should test this one out and let us know if you are running in to new problems since 4.12, or if it is working out well for you.
This update requires a new version of the Nvidia drivers with a minimum version of 442.19 (unless you are on a pre-RTX card, which has a minimum of 441.22. Nvidia tests and recommends the Studio editions of their drivers for use with Daz Studio and Iray, so be sure to grab one of those.

Since this is just a patch release there aren't going to be a ton of new features, but the team did get Iray 2020 in with an initial integration. This isn't the full integration yet, so toon rendering and hair optimizations aren't in there. Even without those fixes the Iray 2020 release brings a number of improvements:
- A lot of bugfixes and stability improvements
- The ability to limit the number of CPU rendering threads to not overpower your entire system.
- An AI-based rendering completion estimation system to better find the right time to stop rendering.
- An option to decrease memory utilization at the cost of slightly slower renders.
- NVlink support to share texture memory on nvlink connected and enabled cards.
In addition there are a lot of other bugfixes throughout the Daz Studio core improving the on the animation and IK tools. A fix is also in this beta series for MacOS Catalina, so if you are a Mac user and have not tried the previous Betas, I would highly recommend giving this one a go.

Sounds like a nice update, hope all those options also work on pre-RTX cards.
Sadly can't participate in the test, everything in my set-up is currently stable after a nasty period of instability so cant risk it.
