dForm question and rigging.

Hello All, 

I have been trying to figure out how to have an object interract with a figure or multiple figures. For example, take a sphere primitive and have two hands squeeze it (like a balloon) where it dforms to one side or the other. I also want to have interractions with it on a dform basis too (using smoothing modifiers), is this possible?

  • If you can't figure it out in Daz, you could always export the figures as OBJ to Blender, create the sphere mesh, do some soft body physics, and then export just the sphere back to Daz. The softbody physics stuff with Blender 2.83 Beta are amazing and the "pressure" setting in Cloth simulation might be just what you're looking for.

    Instead of dforms you might consider using dForce. Set gravity to zero and move the hands into the sphere on the timeline.
