Question About LAMH file

I downloaded a .lmh file (a fur coat for Lynne's Rabbit), but I'm not sure how to use it. I can't seem to just open it in Daz Studio, even with the rabbit selected. I assume this means I need to do something with the LAMH Free Player, but I've never even looked at it. If someone knows how to open and use this, I'd greatly appreciate it. Oh, and please use baby steps, I'm not very good with technology!

With your furry-to-be selected in the scene, open the LAMH tab pane. Look for the "Attach LAMH Preset" button. Press that and navigate to the folder with the .lmh preset, select it, click open, and wait for it to load. I have found that sometimes these third party presets are a little unstable, so save your scene before opening it in case Studio crashes.
If you want to render in Iray you will then need to export as an obj.
Thank you again! You always seem to come to my rescue! ^_^
That's cool, I didn't know that would work. Will that work with all LAMH stuff? Like for AM's foxes?
AM has updated all his furry creations with Iray Catalyzer versions, so no need to go through that every time, but you will need a new plugin (not free): LAMH 2 Iray Catalyzer.
I don't think anyone else can make fur for Catalyzer, though.
Thanks, but I really don't have many AM animals, so it probably wouldn't be worth it. Actually, I think the foxes are all I have.
I'll give the obj thing a try, though, it sounds promising!
What? No bear cubs? Koala? Kangaroos and Joeys?
Nah, not yet anyway. Maybe someday! I especially want that chimp, so I may have to get the Catalyser then, we'll see.
I have a VERY small amount of Daz money, unless it's a birthday or something. We live off of my husband's disability check every month. So I usually try to make it last for things like enviroments and hair, stuff I can use lots of times in different renders. And characters. I might be addicted to Mousso characters, lol! And they go on amazing sales sometimes!
Aaaand this LAMH preset won't work anyway, it's a bit too fluffy for my taste. Oh well, now I know how to use them, and that's the important thing!
